This is Jimmy's first CD recorded under his own name. It was released in 1991. Jimmy, signed by Concord Records, went on to record seven more CDs with the label. What a debut! There are few that have an ability to play guitar at the level that Jimmy Bruno does. His playing is quick and furious, but smooth. The guitar work is amazing. The Samba sounding "Manha de Carnaval" has a Latin-Jazz flavor to it. Bruno's own tunes are fun, and he makes his covers his own with his touch.
